Measure and fasten the cardigan

Measure the widest chest behind the front legs and the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail while your dog stands naturally. Compare both measurements before the approximate weight range, and choose the larger size if between sizes.

Open the button front before dressing and guide each leg gently through the sleeves. Fasten the cardigan without catching fur, then check that the ribbed knit, collar and striped cuffs allow normal movement during brief, dry-weather everyday wear.
